As the year slowly draws to a close and people begin trickling out for the holidays, we wanted to say Merry Christmas from the YVSP Team and thank everyone who participated in December 7th's "What Matters to You(th)" Community Forum.
Over 50 young people came out to the Forum! They raised the issues they care about, shared the many ways that they're active in their communities, and met other young people who are committed to reducing violence in our city.
The Forum participants represented organizations like ATASK, Bikes Not Bombs, Boston After School and Beyond, City Mission Society, College Bound Dorchester, Egleston Square Main Street, English High School, Madison Park Development Corp., Project RIGHT, River of Life Church, the Teen Center at St. Peter's, Teen Empowerment, and more.

Finally, we're grateful for the work being done by the youth, adults, and organizations who shared their thoughts and hopes at the Forum!
Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year,
